From this course you start on the adventure of being a marine engineer on a Super Yacht.  It is a theoretical course but includes practical demonstrations.  The course will teach you about the environment that you will work in, your responsibilities and a little about the equipment you will be responsible for.

You will learn the cycle of operation regarding 2 stroke and 4 stroke diesel and petrol engines, their fuel, electrical, lubrication and cooling systems, the combustion process, power transmissions and hull fittings.

The course provides the first few steps of a long path to your Y4 qualifications, and becoming a Chief engineer responsible for yachts up to 200gt with equipment of 1500 kW.
